Courtship Krater Pot

A beautiful porcelain krater shaped pot. The pot's body sits on top of an ornate circular base, and is highlighted by its incredibly detailed handles. The dark blue color of the vase is powerful and elegant, creating a vivid backdrop for the piece's hand painted Rococo motif. Depicting a different scene on each side, it shows two stages of a courtship in progress. The backgrounds depict natural landscapes and incoporate architectural details.
